Aspen is a companion for support between sessions — it is not a crisis service. If you’re in distress or danger, please reach out to one of these now:
Inside the app, “Crisis support” is always available at the top of the screen.
What is Aspen?
Aspen is a calm, clinically grounded companion for the inner work you do between therapy sessions, built on IFS, Polyvagal Theory, and somatic awareness. It is not a therapist, a diagnosis, or a replacement for professional care.
Is my information private?
Your conversations stay between you and the AI — private to your account, never sold, and never used to train AI. If you connect a practitioner, they see only your check-in patterns and session summaries, never the conversations themselves. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I connect my therapist or practitioner?
If your practitioner gave you an invite code, enter it during signup, or any time from Settings → Practitioner. You can disconnect there at any time.
How do I reset my password?
On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password?” and follow the emailed link to set a new one.
How do I manage check-in reminders?
On iPhone, Aspen can send a gentle daily check-in reminder. Turn notifications on or off for Aspen in your device’s Settings → Notifications.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings and choose to delete your account. This permanently removes your account and all of your data — check-ins, sessions, conversations, and parts.
Does Aspen work without an internet connection?
No — Aspen needs a connection to generate responses and save your sessions securely.
